ScaleUp Portugal is a program designed to support high-potential startups and scaleups in their growth journey. By providing access to mentorship, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships, the initiative plays a key role in accelerating innovation and entrepreneurship within the Portuguese ecosystem.
I led the creation of ScaleUp Portugal’s visual identity from the ground up. This included the development of the main logo, a modern, dual-hexagon mark representing strength and synergy. The dark navy and light grey hexagons convey trust, growth, and balance, while the clean typography emphasizes clarity and forward movement. In addition to the logo, I designed the program’s full communication toolkit: social media templates, visual guidelines, and the graphic structure for all print and digital materials. I also designed the layout and look of the official report and created the social media content strategy and visuals to ensure consistent outreach across platforms.
One of the project’s highlights was the key visual created for the ScaleUp Portugal Gala . It featured a digitally rendered trophy composed of a glowing network of points and lines, symbolizing innovation, connectivity, and achievement, all central themes of the program. This visual became the anchor for event branding across digital banners, presentations, and print materials.
