Disruptor is a European initiative led by BGI that empowers researchers and university faculty to transform scientific knowledge into real-world innovation. The program bridges the gap between academia and industry by fostering entrepreneurial skills, changing mindsets, and providing pathways for research commercialization.
I was responsible for creating the full visual identity of the Disruptor program, starting with the logo and extending to all digital and print materials. The logo consists of two core elements: a stylized arrow and a wordmark. The typography is clean and modern, using a sans-serif font that communicates clarity and accessibility. The overall design strikes a balance between academic credibility and entrepreneurial energy, positioning Disruptor as a future-focused and dynamic brand.
Beyond the logo, I designed the entire suite of branding materials for the program — from social media templates and campaign visuals to presentation decks, event signage, and printed deliverables. Each asset followed the established identity guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and professional look across all communication channels.

This comprehensive design work helped Disruptor launch with a clear, recognizable brand and engage researchers across Portugal with confidence and visual consistency.
