Practical design for local businesses, from the first conversation to the finished printed piece. SAM Design was a student-led studio I helped run in Tunis, working on restaurant materials, business promotion and apparel graphics.

As a designer and printer, I handled client conversations, concepts, layouts and print production. Working directly with the people using the materials taught me to make decisions around the message, format and budget of each project.
The work had to function in everyday settings: a menu at a table, a poster on a wall or a graphic on a sweatshirt. I designed with those uses in mind and followed the work through to print.
