Neroes is a neuroscience startup focused on helping companies boost employee performance and well-being using brainwave-powered mental training. Their innovative platform combines neurofeedback technology with gamification to deliver real results in emotional control, decision-making, and stress management.
The challenge was to make this advanced, science-driven concept feel both cutting-edge and approachable. The goal was to create a digital experience that highlights the technology while keeping the interface friendly, easy to use, and focused on performance.
The Neroes team provided a custom design created in Adobe Illustrator. My role was to transform this vision into a fully functional website using WordPress with Elementor, handling both the front-end design and back-end functionality.
Collaboration was key. I worked closely with their designer and science and marketing leads to make sure the website matched their brand perfectly and maintained pixel-level accuracy. For smooth performance and security, I integrated essential plugins like WP Rocket for caching, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for content management, and Yoast for SEO, along with custom scripts to keep everything lightweight and fast on all devices.
Given the platform’s data-driven nature and neuroscience foundation, I focused on clean content layouts, interactive visuals, and subtle animations that help users grasp the science without compromising site speed.
Post-launch, I set up Google Analytics, heatmaps, and used tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix to track user behavior and performance, ensuring continuous optimization.
