Scaleup Portugal

The Scaleup Portugal website serves as the digital hub for the annual “Scaleup Portugal Report,” which highlights the top 25 high-growth tech startups in Portugal. The site needed to be clean and user-friendly, providing investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and media quick access to background information, downloadable reports, partner logos, and subscription options for future updates.

I began by reviewing previous editions of the report and exploring competitor websites focused on startup rankings. This research helped me understand what users expect and how to best present data-driven content clearly and attractively.

Using Photoshop, I designed the homepage layout while Illustrator was used to create clean icons representing key sectors like ICT, MedTech, Consumer & Web, and Cleantech. I also refined partner logos and call-to-action buttons to fit the overall design.

Next, I developed the website in Wix, taking advantage of dynamic page collections to manage different report editions and partner assets smoothly.

After launch, I connected Google Analytics, Search Console, and PageSpeed Insights to track downloads, user behavior, and site performance. Ongoing monitoring allowed me to make small improvements that enhance the user experience and site effectiveness.
