Grow Project

The GROW project is a European initiative led by EIT Food and supported by seven partners from Portugal, Sweden, the UK, Germany, and Poland. Its mission is to empower farmers by providing education, community, and innovative resources that address real challenges they face every day.

My role was to translate this mission into a digital platform that is visually engaging, easy to navigate, and supports multiple languages. The website needed to serve both as an educational hub and a space where farmers could connect, collaborate, and share knowledge.

The process began with detailed research into GROW’s audience, mainly farmers and agricultural innovators. I worked closely with the teams at BGI and EIT Food to gather insights and shape the project’s direction.

Using Photoshop and Illustrator, I developed a design system that balances clean, modern visuals with a grounded, approachable feel that fits the farming community.

Development took place in Webflow, which allowed me to build a fully responsive, CMS-powered website. The layout is clear and user-friendly, featuring sections for farmer initiatives, partner details, training opportunities, and content submissions.

Throughout the build, I focused on user experience, search engine optimization, and performance. I integrated tools such as Google Analytics, custom tracking, and optimized media to ensure fast loading times and meaningful engagement.

Key features include language support, content filtering, and event registration capabilities — all designed with scalability and feedback from farmers in mind.

The final result is a collaborative platform that strengthens the farming community, encourages knowledge sharing, and supports sustainable agriculture throughout Europe.
