The Films I Want You to Find on My YouTube Channel
A film needs someone on the other side of it. Making the image is one part of the work. Sharing it is the part that lets another person bring their own attention.
My YouTube channel, not...today...Haraketii, is where I share films I write, direct, shoot and edit. In my introduction to the channel, I described it as a cinematic home. That is still the invitation I want to make here.
I am interested in real locations, light, people and the feeling of a moment. The channel gives those interests a place to be seen together.
Begin with one film
You do not need to work through an archive as if it were homework. Pick something that catches your attention and give it a complete viewing.
If possible, use a screen on which you can see the frame and sound you can hear comfortably. A film is more than the thumbnail that introduces it.

Notice what the image leaves you to discover
When watching, look at where attention settles. A person entering late, a space left empty or an action held without explanation can shape the experience.
Then listen. Sound may lead you toward something the image has not shown yet. A pause can change the weight of the next movement.
These are invitations to pay attention, not instructions for the right interpretation. I do not want a viewer to need an accompanying essay before feeling anything.
In my earlier channel introduction, I wrote about framing, timing and silence as parts of how I make films. Those choices interest me because they can work without turning every moment into a declaration.
If a film stays with you, return to the passage you remember. Sometimes the second viewing reveals a small decision you missed. Sometimes it simply confirms that the moment mattered to you.

Tell me something specific
A comment about a particular image, sound or transition is valuable. It gives me a sense of how the film reached someone, including ways I may not have anticipated.
You are welcome to disagree or ask a question. A useful exchange does not require praise. “I lost track of the relationship here” can begin a more interesting conversation than a row of approving adjectives.
If you share a film with someone, choose the person who might actually enjoy it. A short note about why it came to mind is a generous introduction.
For clients, the channel also offers a way to encounter my decisions over time. A portfolio image can show a frame. A complete film can show how I connect frames and sound.
Watch the films on not...today...Haraketii. Start wherever your curiosity takes you. If the work feels like something you want to keep encountering, subscribe on YouTube.
The reason to return should be the films themselves. I want the channel to earn that attention one viewing at a time.
