Princess Mia

Princess Mia is a deeply personal story about a little girl named Mia who lives with her loving mom, Freya. When Mia falls very sick and has to stay in the hospital, Freya comforts her by sharing a magical family story. It tells of Sandra, Mia’s great-grandmother, who once walked into a dark forest and met a mysterious magical creature called the Pooka. As Sandra’s journey unfolds, it reflects what Mia is going through in the hospital.

This story brings hope, courage, and love. Like Sandra’s tale, Mia’s path is uncertain and that uncertainty holds its own kind of magic. Princess Mia reminds us how stories help us face hard times, how imagination gives strength, and how love lights the way in dark moments.

The idea started from a heartfelt conversation with Wajd Raddaoui about childhood, illness, and the power of imagination. We began developing the story together, but life paused the project. Later, I revisited and rewrote it through my own experiences of childhood sickness, my father’s encouragement, and the inner worlds I created to stay strong.

What began as a simple tale grew into a tribute to resilience, storytelling, and the imagination that helps us through life’s toughest moments. Princess Mia will launch by the end of this year, blending real memories and magic to speak deeply to the heart.
