Princess Mia

A story about the comfort imagination can bring in difficult moments. When Mia becomes ill and stays in hospital, her mother Freya shares a family tale about Sandra and a mysterious creature called the Pooka. Their journeys connect through courage, uncertainty and love.

The idea began in a conversation with Wajd Raddaoui, and we started developing the story together. I later returned to it through my own memories of childhood illness and my father’s encouragement. Princess Mia remains in development; the story explores how the worlds we imagine can help us face the world around us.
