This is my second children’s book, Jake ate the cake. Like the first, the idea came from a vivid dream I had. I turned it into a story, then a poem, and finally a fully illustrated book designed for young readers. The book delivers a fun and magical story that also teaches important lessons about listening, responsibility, and making good choices.
The book is now published on Amazon.
I began by writing the original story inspired by my dream, then reshaped it into a rhythmic poem for children. Next, I designed the characters and scenes using Photoshop and Illustrator, focusing on bright, candy-colored visuals and expressive characters that bring Jake’s adventure to life. After completing the illustrations, I formatted and published the book on Amazon KDP for paperback and Kindle. I also created the product page and description to highlight the story’s charm and message. This project was a full creative journey, from dream to finished book, now enjoyed by kids and parents everywhere.
